Description and Features

The membranes are made of hydrophilic and highly solvent resistant material. They are of high quality and can be applied in general and sterilization of aqueous and organic samples. These membranes have a variety of membrane types include :

• Membranes of MCE
• MCE membranes are all hydrophilic and low protein binding; usually used for general biological filtration, sterilization, and filtration of aqueous solutions.
• Membranes of Nylon
• Nylon membranes are hydrophilic and resistant to many solvents; generally used for filtration and clarification of aqueous or organic solutions.
• Membranes of PVDF
• PVDF (Polyvinylidene difluoride) membranes has advantages of low protein binding, solvent resistant; made of hydrophilic material used for HPLC sample filtration and general biological filtration.
• Membranes of PTFE
• PTFE membranes can be used to filter solvents and strong acids.  Although PTFE is inherently hydrophobic, it can be made hydrophilic by pre-wetting the membrane with methanol and then using with aqueous solutions.
